Interview: Tyler, the Creator Interviews Longtime Idol Pharrell Williams

Tyler, the Creator might have just experienced one of the greatest moments in his entire life. With the success of his Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival came the performance of a lifetime: the musical reunion of Pharrell Williams and N.E.R.D. Pharrell has been creating music solo dolo for some time now, but admits he enjoyed performing his older music with a group of lifelong friends. The concert not only included these two heavy-hitters, but also featured the likes of Action Bronson, Mac miller, OFWGKTA, and other high profile artists. Not only was the concert an enjoyable experience for fans, Tyler admits he “broke down in tears” while watching Pharrell and N.E.R.D. perform at an event organized by him and his crew.

Tyler’s awesome day got even awesome-er when the Odd Future mascot was given the opportunity to interview Skateboard P. His up close and personal moment with the music legend is intriguing to say the least. Their chemistry as friends/creative geniuses is undeniable, constantly complimenting each other on their individual feats and achievements. Pharrell states that he is genuinely proud of Tyler and his contribution to the Y generation. It’s as if the “Happy” artist has taken Tyler under his wing, insuring that he achieves creative success. Pharrell wishes that he could have shared a similar moment with his own musical idol, Q-Tip.
